A monthly publication of charts and tables relating to monthly monetary data and selected interest rate data with brief analysis of current conditions. Occasionally contains selected Federal budget measures.

In order to aid in the retrieval of information from this publication, significant tables, charts, and/or articles have been extracted and can be viewed individually or across a span of issues.

Formerly entitled Rates of Change in Bank Reserves and Money and Bank Reserves and Money. Title changed to Monetary Trends with the issue for month ending February 28, 1967 (released March 13, 1967).

As of 1967, this release incorporates some data formerly published in Triangles of U.S. Economic Data (monthly release).

Beginning in 1978, this release incorporates some data that had been published in Federal Budget Trends.

Monetary Trends content has been converted to FRED dashboards.
