ABSTRACT: The Housing Market Conditions (HMC) report is a quarterly overview of housing market conditions in each of the seven states that comprise the Federal Reserve's Eighth District and the Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA) of Little Rock, Louisville, Memphis, and St. Louis. The HMC report provides snapshots of conditions in the U.S. and the Eighth District states and MSAs via color-coded maps that reflect the number of mortgages considered seriously delinquent (i.e., those that are delinquent 90 days or more, or are in foreclosure), and the respective quarterly percent change in these numbers by county for the U.S. and by zip code for each state and MSA; and historical house price charts for both the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) and CoreLogic indices for the U.S. and for each Eighth District state and MSA.

In order to aid in the retrieval of information from this publication, significant tables, charts, and/or articles have been extracted and can be viewed individually or across a span of issues.

NOTE: While the Eighth District is comprised of the entire state of Arkansas and only parts of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee, analysis is conducted on a statewide basis for each state's respective report.
