H.2 Actions of the Board, Its Staff, and the Federal Reserve Banks; Applications and Reports Received

ABSTRACT: The H.2 release is a summary of Federal Reserve actions taken in the last week, including bank merger approvals, new bank branch requests, and regulations and polices. It also lists reports from the Federal Reserve Banks on applications received and on ratings under the Community Reinvestment Act. Originally an internal report from the Board's Division of Examinations listing applications to merge banks or to form or expand bank holding companies, this data series became part of the public statistical release as of November 4, 1961 (as K.2). The release was expanded to report all activity by the Board regarding all types of bank applications with the October 5, 1963 issue and became the H.2 beginning with the December 7, 1963 issue.
