This is a collection of transcripts of public statements of Janet L. Yellen.


Yellen served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System from August 12, 1994, until she resigned on February 17, 1997. Yellen served as chair of the Council of Economic Advisers from February 18, 1997 to August 3, 1999. She was the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco from 2004 until returning to the Board of Governors in 2010. She served as vice chairman of the Board from October 4, 2010, to February 3, 2014, was appointed chair on February 3, 2014, and resigned on February 3, 2018, upon expiration of her term as chair.


She served as Secretary of the Treasury from January 26, 2021 through January 2025.
