Paul A. Volcker Papers
This collection primarily consists of Volcker's subject files, mostly created during his term as president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (1975-1979) or as chairman of the Federal Reserve (1979-1987), and his correspondence with a variety of individuals. Included are letters to and from White House staff and members of Congress, Volcker's phone logs from his term as undersecretary of the Treasury (1969-1974), and records of various activities within the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
The documents available on FRASER represent only a portion of the complete collection available at Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library, Princeton University. Materials are added to the online collection as they are reviewed by FRASER staff. Items which fall under copyright restrictions, such as newspaper and journal articles, have been removed.
