Social Security Administration Educational Comic Books
Comic books were published by the Social Security Administration beginning in the 1950s, when comic books were a popular medium for communicating with a young audience. The comic books in this collection include information across a range of topics: survivor benefits, the importance of owning a Social Security card, the value of Medicare, and the importance of disability benefits.
