The newsletter was published during the school year as a public service by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Typical issues contain a lead article, announcements of upcoming workshops, innovative educational programs, and
listings of resources. Robert Jabaily, of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, was a contributing author and the editor of The Ledger from 1981 until the publication ceased in 2014.
