This is a collection of transcripts of public statements of Oliver S. Powell. Powell served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System from September 1, 1950, until he resigned on June 30, 1952. Powell then became the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and served from 1952 to 1957.
