Wilson, Charles Edward, 1886-1972

Charles Edward Wilson was CEO of General Electric and served on the War Production Board during World War II. He served President Harry S. Truman as the chairman of the President's Committee on Civil Rights from 1946-1947. He became head of the Office of Defense Mobilization in December 1950, which took control of the US economy and rationed raw materials to the civilian economy. (Source: Wikipedia)
