Former governor, Board of Governors

Lawrence B. Lindsey was sworn in as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System on November 25, 1991. He left the Board of Governors on February 5, 1997. Before joining the Board of Governors, Lindsey also served in two roles at the White House. From 1989 to 1990, he worked as associate director for domestic economic policy.
