Claudia Goldin is the Henry Lee Professor of Economics at Harvard University and director of the Development of the American Economy program at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Goldin was the president of the American Economic Association in 2013–14. In 1990, she became the first woman to be tenured at the Harvard economics department.
