Delos C. Johns served as the fifth president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis from February 1, 1951, to February 28, 1962. Johns began his Federal Reserve System career in 1945 when he became general counsel and secretary (and later vice president) of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
