collections of Social Security taxes under the Federal Insurance
Contributions Act for old-a£e insurance (less reimbursements to the
General Fund of the Treasury for adminletratlTe expooses) have been
deducted from total budget receipts in the Daily Treasury Statement
to arrlra at a flgiure called net recelpte.
Such deduction items are
reflected nnder trust account receipts as net appropriations to the
federal Old-A^e and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund.
In the above
statement, similar treatment has been accorded net transfers to the
Federal Oli-A^e and Surrivors Insurance Trust Fund (formerly Old-Age
Beserre Account) made during the* fiscal years 193^ to 19^^01 in order
to facilitate comparison with later periods.

funds:
Federal Farm Mortgage Corporation - $100 millions, Federal
InLsrmediate credit banks - $Uo millions, and production credit
