Such deduction items are reflected nnder trust account receipts as net appropriations to the federal Old-A^e and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund. In the above statement, similar treatment has been accorded net transfers to the Federal Oli-A^e and Surrivors Insurance Trust Fund (formerly Old-Age Beserre Account) made during the* fiscal years 193^ to 19^^01 in order to facilitate comparison with later periods.
