ABSTRACT:

In October 2005, the real Tech Pulse Index grew at an annualized rate of 43.3%, and the nominal Tech Pulse Index grew at an annualized rate of 33.4%. Growth of the real and nominal Tech Pulse Indexes are above the rates at which they grew over the past 12 months, 37.4% and 25.7% respectively. Revisions to the underlying data used in the construction of the Tech Pulse as well as increased growth in the sector contributed to upward revisions in both the real and nominal Indexes.
