ABSTRACT:

In January 2006, the real Tech Pulse Index grew at an annualized rate of 28.9%, and the nominal Tech Pulse Index grew at an annualized rate of 23.2%. Growth of the real Tech Pulse Index is slightly below the rate of 29.7% at which the index grew over the past 12 months. Growth of the nominal index is above its growth rate of 21.1% over the past year. It should be noted that underlying the January Tech Pulse Index is a substantial downward revision in the employment data.
