DISCONTINUATION OF WEEKLY BUSINESS STATISTICS
Publication of Weekly Business Statistics will be discontinued with the April 24 issue. This step was made
necessary by reductions in staff and budget available for its publication. Also, in recent weeks the source
agencies for several series carried regularly in the Weekly announced that they will no longer prepare those
series.
Refunds for the unexpired portion of Weekly subscriptions will be made by the Superintendent of Documents, U.S.
Government Printing Office.
The April 24 issue will contain a list of alternative sources for the series regularly published in the Weekly
