announced. the appo i ntment of Howard O. Hunt e r as Deputy Administrator of WPA.
Mr . Hunter , who has been Assistant Adrni:.1istrato:?:' anci Field Representative in
charge 0f 13 MidVJestern States , succeeds Aubnw Willi ams , who rec,ently was
nam3d Admi n istrator of t:he National Youth Administration .

Mr . Rt.L'lter has 1::leen a field represent at ive in charge of relief and
wor~ r elief activities in the Middle West for five and a half years , se rving
in this capac ity for the Federal Eme r gency Relief Admi nistration and the
Civil Wor ks Administration as we ll as WFA.
