Hopkins appoints consulting engineer for Works Progress Administration.
H~rry L. Hopkins, Works Progress Administrator, today appointed
Carroll P. Sherwood of Camden, N. J., as consulting engineer for the
Works' Progress Administration.

Mr. Sherwood is a well-known consul ting

and designing engineer and as Director of Public Works for the City of
CaJUden, a city position, he operated in nu...~erous construction act~vities
similar to . those under the Works Progress Adrninistration projects.
Mr. Sherwood will function on the staff of ferry Fellows, Acting
Chief Engineer of the Works Progress Administration.
