WASHINGTON - Today, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen met virtually with French
Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire. Secretary Yellen conveyed her appreciation of France’s leadership
in convening the Summit for a New Global Financial Pact in Paris. Secretary Yellen also raised the
U.S priorities for the Paris Summit, including continuing the momentum to evolve multilateral
development banks (MDBs) and increasing private capital mobilization to achieve development
goals and address global challenges like climate change.
