8/10/2022 READOUT: Assistant Secretary Elizabeth Rosenberg’s Visit to Indonesia | U.S. Department of the Treasury READOUT: Assistant Secretary Elizabeth Rosenberg’s Visit to Indonesia August 9, 2022 JAKARTA — On August 8 and 9, Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes Elizabeth Rosenberg met with counterparts in Jakarta, Indonesia, including from the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment A airs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK). In these meetings, Assistant Secretary Rosenberg discussed shared economic priorities with counterparts and built on Secretary Yellenʼs meetings with Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment A airs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati on the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in July. During these engagements, Assistant Secretary Rosenberg condemned Russiaʼs unprovoked and unjustifiable war in Ukraine and discussed e orts to mitigate the warʼs spillover e ects, including through a potential price cap on Russian oil. Assistant Secretary Rosenberg also discussed countering the financing of terrorism and Indonesiaʼs Just Energy Transition Partnership goals.
