BALI – Last week, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with Emirati Minister of State
for Financial A airs H.E. Obaid Al-Tayer. Secretary Mnuchin and Minister Al-Tayer rea irmed the
importance of the strategic relationship between the United States and the Emirates, and
discussed ongoing regional e orts towards combatting illicit finance, specifically regarding
countering Iran.
