WASHINGTON – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin spoke today with Anton Siluanov,
Minister of Finance of the Russian Federa on. The Secretary and Minister discussed the COVID-19
pandemic and response measures to support economic recovery in the United States and in Russia.
The Secretary and Minister discussed progress on the Debt Service Suspension Ini a ve, designed
to provide fiscal space for the poorest countries to respond to COVID-19, and Secretary Munchin
was pleased to learn that Russia intends to par cipate fully in the ini a ve.
