Lew spoke by phone today with Argentine Finance Minister Alfonso Prat-Gay. Secretary Lew and Minister Prat-Gay discussed Argentina’s recent settlement offer in its negotiations with holdout bondholders. Secretary Lew commended Argentina’s good faith efforts to resolve this long-standing dispute. Secretary Lew took note of the February 5 statement by Daniel A.
