Deputy Secretary Raskin asked the students to share their views, concerns, and suggestions based on their experiences in choosing a school and figuring out how to pay for it. Deputy Secretary Raskin said that the Obama Administration is committed to increasing access and improving outcomes for students choosing different higher education options at various stages of their lives. She highlighted the Administration’s proposal to expand free community college, an essential entry point into higher education for millions of Americans, as one example.
