Treasury chairs this committee of federal and state financial regulators and organizations that coordinate on critical infrastructure matters in the financial sector. The meeting focused on the FBIIC’s continued efforts to enhance the sharing of timely, actionable information regarding cybersecurity vulnerabilities, threats, and incidents between FBIIC member organizations, other federal agencies, including law enforcement, and private entities within the financial sector. Participants also discussed how these various organizations can coordinate response efforts during a cyber-incident through joint planning and communication.
