5/5/2020 Acting Under Secretary Szubin visits Paris and Berlin: June 7 - 8 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY Press Center Acting Under Secretary Szubin visits Paris and Berlin: June 7 - 8 6/3/2016 WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of the Treasury today announced that Acting Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Adam J. Szubin will visit Paris, France and Berlin, Germany from June 7 through 8. During his trip, Acting Under Secretary Szubin will meet with senior government officials, including from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Interior, and Economics as well as members of the financial services community. Discussions will focus on the importance of maintaining sanctions pressure on Russia until it fulfills the provisions of the Minsk Agreements. Acting Under Secretary Szubin will also discuss implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action as well as continued efforts to combat Iran’s support for terrorism and other destabilizing activity.
