Dumas and Bishop Reappointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Birmingham Branch Board of
Directors

For immediate release: December 20, 2016
Robert W. Dumas, president and chief executive officer of AuburnBank, and Brandon W. Bishop, international representative of the southern region for
the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE), have been reappointed to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's
Birmingham Branch. Their terms begin Jan. 1, 2017 and run through Dec. 31, 2019.
Dumas has served in his current position since 2001. He joined AuburnBank in 1984 and served as vice president/commercial loan officer and senior
vice president/lending. Prior to that, Dumas served as vice president/branch manager at AmSouth Bank from 1976 to 1984.
Dumas is a member of the board of directors of the Auburn National Bancorporation Inc., AuburnBank, East Alabama Medical Center, Alabama Bankers
Association and Auburn Research and Technology Foundation. He is a member of the Auburn University Board of Trustees. He previously served on the
Auburn University College of Business Advisory Council from 2001 to 2008, Auburn City Schools Board of Education from 1996 to 2006 and North
Auburn Housing Development Corporation from 2003 to 2006.
Dumas graduated with high honors, receiving his bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from Auburn University in 1976, and was a
Phi Kappa Phi Honoree. He graduated from the School of Banking of the South, Louisiana State University in 1981. He was recognized as Boys & Girls
Club Man of the Year in 1993 and was a Tiger Trail Inductee in 2006. He received the Chairman's Award in 2014 from the Auburn Chamber of
Commerce.
Bishop has served in his current position since 2014. He previously served as IUOE 312 business manager and financial secretary from 2007 to 2013,
assistant business manager and president from 2003 to 2007 and in various positions on IUOE 312's executive board from 1998 to 2007.
Bishop serves as an advisory board member of Go Build Alabama and Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute. He is a member of the Southern
Company SST (Southern Safety Tri-lateral). He is a board member of the TVA/Tri-lateral Safety Administration and TVA Health and Safety Committee.
He is also a member of Masonic Lodge 929.
Bishop received his associate's degree in business administration from Central Alabama Community College. He completed a Dale Carnegie training
course in May 2010.
Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta branch directors provide economic information from the branch territory to the district bank's president and head office
directors, who use the information in discussing monetary policy options and making discount rate recommendations. Dumas was reappointed by the
Atlanta Fed's board of directors. Bishop was reappointed by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. The Board of Governors
appoints three of the Birmingham Branch directors, and the Atlanta head office directors appoint four.
