Atlanta Fed Named Fourth on DiversityInc's Top 10 Regional Companies for Diversity List for 2016

For immediate release: April 20, 2016
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta was named fourth on DiversityInc's 15th annual Top 10 Regional Companies for Diversity on April 19, 2016.
DiversityInc determines rankings using an objective methodology that calculates factors such as talent pipeline, equitable talent development (including
commitments to mentorship and philanthropy), CEO/leadership commitment, and supplier diversity. The empirical data for the rankings are provided by a
300-question survey filled out by personnel at the participating companies. Survey participation is free to any company with at least 1,000 U.S. workers.
The Atlanta Fed recognizes the significant value that a diverse workforce contributes to carrying out its mission. "We are delighted to be recognized for
the third year by DiversityInc as one of the top regional companies," said Joan Buchanan, chief diversity officer and director of the Office of Minority and
Women Inclusion.
"This recognition from DiversityInc is really evidence of the dedication that the employees across our organization have to diversity and inclusion," she
continued. "Our commitment to diversity starts at the top with our leadership and is reflected in many ways throughout the organization. This commitment
appears not just in our staff representation, but also in many of our policies, programs and business decisions that affect our jobs as well as our
workplace. That said, we continually work to enhance aspects of diversity in hiring, employee retention, procurement and more, and DiversityInc's
benchmarking is very helpful to us in supporting that continued improvement."
