AMES: University Bank & Trust
Co. has announced the following of­
ficer title changes: Lois Pannkuk,
vice president & cashier; Wayne
Wilson, vice president and trust of­
ficer, and Mary Hage, vice president
and assistant trust officer. Marcia
Lewis has also been named opera­
tions officer at the bank.
GRUNDY CENTER: T.J. Heronimus has been elected chairman and
David Abels a director of Farmer’s
Savings Bank. Mr. Heronimus suc­
ceeds Ralph W. Anderson, who re­
tired after 26 years as a director, the
last seven of which as chairman.
MADRID: C. Walter Anderson,
chairman of City State Bank has
resigned. He had served on the
board since the bank was organized
on May 31, 1934, and was named
chairman emeritus upon his resigna­
tion. Barbara Lund was elected to
the board and Merrill Sundberg was
elected chairman.
MORNING SUN: Bob Buckman
has been named vice president and
farm representative for the Iowa
State Bank at Morning Sun. He
replaces A1 Eygebroad, who recent­
ly resigned.
POSTVILLE: At Citizens State
Bank, R.E. Busse was advanced to
vice president and farm represen­
tative and Marie Meyer from assis­

tant cashier to cashier. Denise
Chevalier-Bernatz recently joined
the bank’s staff as assistant cashier
and assistant farm representative.

SEWARD: Russell Struthers, 67,
chairman of the board at Jones Na­
tional Bank and Trust, died recently
at a Lincoln hospital. He joined the
bank’s staff in 1947, was made presi­
dent in 1963 and elected chairman in
1978, serving in that capacity until
his death.
WILCOX: Mark L. Buckley has
been elected as president and
cashier of First National Bank of
Wilcox. Mr. Buckley joined the bank
in 1977 after gradùation from the
University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
