Federal Reserve System on Thursday, September 31 1953.

Letter to Mr. Denmark, Vice President, Federal Reserve Bank of
Atlanta, reading as follows:
In accordance with the request contained in your letter
of August 28, 1953, the Board approves the designation of
Robert M. Stephenson, formerly Chief Examiner, as a special
examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
Approved unanimously.
Letter to Mr. Neely, Federal Reserve Agent, Federal Reserve Bank
of Atlanta, reading as follows:
In accordance with the request contained in your letter
of August 311 19531 the Board of Governors approves the payment of salary to Mr. W. C. Burson, Federal Reserve Agent's
Representative, Birmingham Branch, at the rate of $51100 per
annum.

Your advice with respect to the effective date of the increased salary will be appreciated.

Letter to Mr. Diercks, Vice President, Federal Reserve Bank of
Chicago, reading as follows:
In accordance with the request contained in your letter
