Vardaman Mr. Sherman, Assistant Secretary Mr. Morrill, Special Adviser Memorandum dated September 10, 1947, from Mr. Nelson, Director of the Division of Personnel Administration, stating that Mrs. Ruth S. Lamb, a clerk in that Division, had attained age 66 arid would retire effective October 1, 1947. The memorandum also stated that Mrs. Lamb's retention in active service past age 65 Ilae due to incorrect information with regard to her date of birth. Noted. Memorandum dated September 10, 1947, from Mr. Boothe, AsDirector of the Division of Administrative Services, rec°Ialmending the appointment of Miss Mabel Elizabeth Wike as a page in that Division, on a temporary indefinite basis, with basic salarY at the rate of $1,756 per annum, effective as of the date 111301a Which she enters upon the performance of her duties after 11"ing passed the usual physical examination.
