Vardaman Mr. Sherman, Assistant Secretary Mr. Morrill, Special Adviser Memorandum dated September 10, 1947, from Mr. Nelson, Director of the Division of Personnel Administration, stating that Mrs. Ruth S. Lamb, a clerk in that Division, had attained age 66 arid would retire effective October 1, 1947. The memorandum also stated that Mrs. Lamb's retention in active service past age 65 Ilae due to incorrect information with regard to her date of birth. Noted.
