Memorandum dated September 10, 1947, from Mr. Nelson, Director of the Division of Personnel Administration, stating that
Mrs. Ruth S. Lamb, a clerk in that Division, had attained age 66
arid would retire effective October 1, 1947.

The memorandum also

stated that Mrs. Lamb's retention in active service past age 65
Ilae due to incorrect information with regard to her date of birth.

Memorandum dated September 10, 1947, from Mr. Boothe, AsDirector of the Division of Administrative Services, recĀ°Ialmending the appointment of Miss Mabel Elizabeth Wike as a page
in that Division, on a temporary indefinite basis, with basic
salarY at the rate of $1,756 per annum, effective as of the date

also stated that Miss Wike was a member of the Civil Service

the appointment of Mrs. Constance Hix Richardson as a charwoman in
that Division, on a temporary indefinite basis, with basic salary
at the rate of $1,690 per annum, effective as of the date upon which
she enters upon the performance of her duties after having passed

the usual physical examinPtion. The memorandum also stated that
Mr8. Richardson was a member of the Civil Service retirement system
and would remain in that system.

Memorandum dated September 10, 1947, from Mr. Boothe, Assistant Director of the Division of Administrative Services, recĀ°I:Mending that the resignation of Miss Joyce Amrin, a cafeteria
