The undersigned request that you call
a special meeting of the ieederal Reserve 3oard for
today, Tuesday September 11, 1923, at 4:00 p.m.

Upon call of the Governor, a special meeting of the Federal Reserve
Board was held in the office of the Governor an Tuesday, September 11, 1923,
at 4:00 p.m.
PRESENT: Governor Crissinger,
Er. Hamlin,
ne. James,
Er. Dawes,
rr. Cunningham, Secretary pro tem.
The Committee on Nominations recommended the appointment of Ir. W. VI.
Roxton as Class "0", director of the Federal Reserve Bank of hichmond, for the
term expiring December 31, 1923.
Upon motion ofrr. Dames, the recommendation of the Committee
was adopted, and rr. Hoxton was appointed.
rr. Hamlin moved that Ere Hoxton be designated by the Board as Federal
Reserve Agent and Chairman of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve
Bank Of Richmond, at a salary of

15,000 per annum, for the term expiring

December 31, 1923; such designation to become effective upon the date on
"lich he shall qualify for the positions named.
The motion of Yr. Hamlin, being put by the Chair, was carried.

The meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
