3525 A meeting of the Federal Reserve Board was held in Washington on Monday, November 19, 1934, at 9:40 a. m. PRESENT: Ur. Er. Mr. Er. Mr. Er. Er. Eccles, Governor Thomas, Vice Governor Hamlin Miller James Szymczah O'Connor Er. Morrill, Secretary Mr. Bethea, Assistant Secretary Er. Carpenter, Assistant Secretary Er. Wyatt, General Counsel Governor Eccles read a statement prepared by Mr. Mille r in htnoe with the action taken at the meeting of the Board on lisirezb 6r 179 1934, to be read by the Governor at the meeting with Of' deral Advisory Council this morni ng. During the discussion the 11%4 statement certain amendments were suggested and the question liaised as to whether the statement should be given any publicity. It was agreed that the statement should not be given out and that Governor Eccles should advise the Council that no publicity will be given to the statement at this time. At the conclusion of the discussion , upon motion by Ir.
