1544 A meeting of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System was held in Washington on Thursday, November 18, 1937, at 11:30 a. m. PRESENT: Mr. Eccles, Chairman Mr. Szymczak Mr. McKee Mr. Mr. Mr. Mr. Morrill, Secretary Bethea, Assistant Secretary Carpenter, Assistant Secretary Clayton, Assistant to the Chairman Consideration was given to each of the matters hereinafter rererreA to and the action stated with respect thereto was taken by the BE11114:: Telegrams to Mr. McKinney, President of the Federal Reserve of pallas $ and Mr. Stewart, Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank Of s -411 l'rancisco, stating that the Board approves the establishment change by the respective banks today of the rates of discount D urchase in their existing schedules.
