720 A meeting of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve SYstem was held in Washington on 'Wednesday, May 2, 1945, at 10:30 PRESENT: Mr. Mr. Mr. Mr. Mr. Eccles, Chairman Ransom, Vice Chairman McKee Draper Evans Mr. Morrill, Secretary Mr. Carpenter, Assistant Secretary Mr. Thurston, Assistant to the Chairman The action stated with respect to each of the matters hereinafter referred to was taken by the Board: The minutes of the meeting of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System held on May 1, 1945, were approved unanimously. Memorandum dated April 30, 1945, from Mr. Bethea, Director of the Division of Administrative Services, recommending that the teraPorary in appointment of Mrs. Evelyn M. Loveless, a cafeteria helper that Division, be extended for an indefinite period from May 4, 1945, and that her basic salary be increased from t1,080 to t1,240 allnum, effective May 16, 1945. The memorandum stated that Mrs. Love1 e88 would become a member of the Board's retirement system. Approved unanimously.
