At a meeting of the Executive )ammittee of the Federal Aeserve Board held in the office of the Board on Wednesday, 'March 7, at 12.55 p.m., PaESENT: jr. Harding, Mr. Delano, Mr. darburg, Mr. Willis, Secretary. Present also Mr. M. O. Elliott, Jounsel to the Board. Governor Harding stated to Mr. Elliott the view of the Solicitor General of the United States relative to the number of counsel to appear at the hearing before the Supreme Court in regard to fiduciary powers of national banks. r. Elliott Stated that he had already had confer- ences with the Solicitor General on the subject, and that the matter had been satisfactorily adjusted. He had re- quested the Solicitor General to leave him, Mx. Elliott, out of account in the matter. Governor Harding directed Counsel to prepare an official letter to the Solicitor General covering this matter, and further directed that the proof of the brief to be submitted should be distributed to those members of the Board who are interested. On motion at 1 p.m. the :ommittee adjourned.
