Upon call of the Governor, a special meeting of the Federal Aeserve 8c)erci was held in the office of the Federal Aeserve Board on Monday, March 25, 1929 at 12:30 p.m. PHESE:;T: Governor Young Mr. Platt Mr. Hamlin Mr. Miller 11r. James Mr. Cunningham McClelland, Asst. Secretary The Governor stated that he called the meeting for 'the purpose of "Ileulting with the members of the Board with regard to the appointment of the c ommittee which is to go to New York for a meeting with the directors of he Pederal deserve Bank on Thursday. A general discussion ensued with re- to the present credit situation and the position relative thereto of the Majority of the Board with which the committee is to acquaint the diOrs of the New York bank. Following a discussion, the Governor appointed Messrs. Miller, Cunninham and James as members of the cormittee in question. The meeting adjourned at 1:00 p.m. Assistant Secretary. 413Proved:
