Minutes of actions taken by the Board of Governors of the
Federal Reserve System on January 10, 1950, were approved unanimously.
Memorandum dated January 5, 1950, from Mr. Young, Director of
the Division of Research
and Statistics, recommending that Sidney
Washington, an operator (duplicati
ng devices) in the Division of
Administrative Services, be transferred to the Division
of Research
and Statistics as a clerk, with no change
in his present basic salary
of $2,930 per annum, effective as of the date upon which he enters
uPon the performance of his new duties. The memorandum also stated
that the Division of Administrative
Services was agreeable to this
transfer.
Approved unanimously.
Memorandum dated January 10, 1950, from Mr. Bethea, Director
of the Division of Administrative Services,
recommending the appointment of Mrs. Vera V. Dulin
as a cafeteria helper in that Division
on a temporary basis for a period of two months,
with basic salary
at the
rate of $2,120 per annum, effective as of the date upon which




She enters upon the performance of her duties after having passed
the usual physical examination.
