Business was presented and disposed of as follows:
Telegram dated February 7th from the Chairman, Federal
Reserve Bank of Atlanta,

in re resolution adopted by a group

of State banks protesting against the methods of the Federal
Reserve Bank of Atlanta in endeavoring to secure par collection
of checks, together with press statement issued by the Atlanta
Bank, bearine upon the same subject.
Noted.
Letter dated February 5th from Assistant :,ecretary of
the Treasury Leffingwell, requesting that the Board appoint a
vault clerk for duty at the Bureau of Lngraving and Printing at
a salary of v1,81/4)0 per annum, with ,e240 additional compensation, to be custodian of Federal Reserve notes in the Federal
Reserve vault at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, such
cleri. to be subject to the orders of the Secretary of the
Treasury.
