Minutes of actions taken by the Board of Governors of the
Federal Reserve System on February 27, 1947, were approved unanimously.
Telegrams to Mr. Whittemore, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston;
Mr. Clarke, Assistant Secretary of the Federal Reserve Bank of New
Y°rIc; Mr. Clouse, Assistant Vice President of the Federal Reserve
Bank of Cleveland; Mr. Walden, First Vice President of the Federal
Reserve Bank of Richmond; Mr. Clark, First Vice President of the
Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta; Mr. Stewart, Secretary of the
Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; Mr. Powell, First Vice President
0f the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis; Mr. Johns, Secretary of

the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City; Mr. Gilbert, President of
the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas; and Mr. Volberg, Vice President
the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, stating that the
Board approves the establishment without change by the Federal
Reserve Banks of Atlanta, St. Louis, and San Francisco on February
261 by the Federal Reserve Banks of New York, Cleveland, Richmond,

Minneapolis, Kansas City, and Dallas on February 27, and by the
Federal Reserve Bank of Boston today, of the rates of discount
and purchase in their existing schedules.
Approved unanimously.
Memorandum dated February 28, 1947, from Mr. Bethea, Director
°I the Division of Administrative Services, recommending that the
resignation of Miss Audrey L. Moye, a stenographer in that Division,
be accepted, in accordance with her request, at the close of business

ebruary 28, 1947, with the understanding that a lump sum payment
would be made for annual leave remaining to her credit as of that
date.
Approved unanimously.
Memorandum dated February 27, 1947, from Mr. Bethea, Director
(If the Division of Administrative Services, recommending that the
tesignation of Mrs. Hazel M. Glover, a cafeteria helper in that
Division, be accepted to be effective, in accordance with her
'
l equest, at the close of business February 20, 1947, with the
ullderstanding that a lump sum payment would be made for annual
leave remaining to her credit as of that date.
Approved unanimously.
Letter to Mr. Douglas, Vice President of the Federal Reserve

"The Board of Governors approves the continuation
of Messrs. Henry T. Emmons and Andrew M. Ramsey in
their present assignments as Job Analysts '111 in the
Salary Stabilization and Research Section of the Personnel Records Division, Personnel Department, for a
further period of six months beginning February 1,
1947, in accordance with the request contained in
Your letter of February 24, 1947.
"This approval is given with the understanding
that the salaries paid Messrs. Emmons and Ramsey while
serving in the temporary assignments will not exceed
the salaries they would be eligible to receive in the
Positions they occupied at the time they were given
the present assignments."
