Minutes of actions taken by the Board of Governors of the
Federal Reserve System on December 29, 19531 were approved unanimously.
Letter to Mr. Wiltse, Vice President, Federal Reserve Bank of
New York, reading as follows:
In accordance with the request contained in your
letter of December 92 19531 the Board of Governors approves, effective December 91 1953, the designation of
Richard E. Hunke and John P. Armbruster as special examiners and Eugene P. Emond, Charles J. Menge, Kenneth
B. Mesler, and Allen F. Peterson as special assistant
examiners for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
For the purpose of the Board's records, the original
appointments of Messrs. Hunke and Armbruster as examiners
and of Messrs. Emond, Menge, Mosier, and Peterson as assistant examiners are considered as having been terminated
December 9, 1953, in line with Mr. Goodman's telephone conversations with you and Mr. Quackenbush.
