At a meeting of the Exeoutive Committee of ,the Federal Reserve Board held in the office of the Governor on April 4, 1918, at 12:20 P. M., PRESLT: Mr. Harding, presiding, - Mr. Miller, Mr. Warburg, Mr. Willis, Secretary. Present also; Mr. Hamlin. The question of the present status of the Index Digest was taken up and the following memorandum was presented: MEMORANDUli AS TO INDEX-,DIG:64T. The 300 paper copies whioh were rebound have been received and are today being mailed out. That leaves 1000 new copies yet to come. Of this 1000 there is now on hand orders for 822, which leaves 178 copies yet to be sold. I believe these will all have orders waiting for them before the books are received. There are still about 100 copies of the paper bound on hand, but the number is gradually diminishing. The Public Printer states that it will now be necessary to throw out the type for the book or have it plated. Plating would cost between $200 and ;300. While I believe more orders will be received than we will have books, still I do not think the number would be enough to justify either ordering additional books now or having the t:ipe plated. 0. E. F. Approved C. S. H. After discussion it was, on motion, ordered that the Index Digest be plated, Mr. Hamlin stating that the details would be arranged through his office. On motion, at 12:30 P. M., the Committee adjourned. APPROVED: Secretary Chairman
