image-container-0 1180 A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Federal Reserve Board was held in the office of the Governor at 3.55 p. m. on Thursday, Eay 13, 1915. PRESENT: Mr. Hamlin, presiding, Mr. Miler Er. Allen, Assistant Secretary. Governor Hamlin presented a letter from Governor Strong of New York relative to the amount of notes on hand and to be prepared for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Yr. Miller moved that in order that the Board might be in a position to meet the needs of the Federal Re- serve Bank of New York, the limit of Federal reserve notes heretofore assigned to be prepared for that bank be increase d from ::,3125,000, 000 to .:)150,000,0 00; That the Comptrolle r of the Currency be requested to advise the Director of the Bureau of Engraving and Priflt-. ing of the desire of the Board that the printing of the notes in .,)5 and . ) ,)10 denominati ons for this bank be expedited; That in preparing the notes a force be employed both day and night; and That if necessary additional plates and dies be pre°p ared for such use., APPROVED: Assistant Seers Chairman.
