K.3 No. 2k ANNOUNCEMENT BY BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM For the week ended September 2, 1950 CHANGES IN STATE BANK MEMBERSHIP Date effective District Absorption and Establishment of Branch 2 Ampere Bank and Trust Company, East Orange, New Jersey, has been absorbed by Fidelity Union Trust Company, Newark, New Jersey, both State members. In connection with the absorption a branch was established in the former location of the Anpere Bank and Trust Company 9-1-50 Other Changes 12 Bank of Beaumont, Beaumont, California, Bank 8-7-50 of Newman, Newman, California, and First Trust and Savings Bank of Pasadena, Pasadena, California, all State members, the business of which had been acquired by Bank of America, N.T. & S.A., at the close of business June 24, 1950, resumed operations on August 7, 195° • The business of the branches established by the Bank of America, N.T. & S.A., on June 26, 1950 at the location of these banks, as well as at the locations of the two branches of the Bank of Newman and the two branches of the First Trust and Savings Bank of Pasadena, was reacquired by the respective banks/at the close of business August 5, 195O.
