Bank of the Manhattan Company, New York, New York, a
State member, absorbed Bronx County Trust Company,
New York, New York, also a State member. The former
main office and branches of the absorbed bank will be
operated as branches of the continuing bank.

Community Trust Company, Bloomfield, New Jersey, a State
member, was absorbed by the National Newark and Essex
Banking Company, Newark, New Jersey. A branch was established in the former location of the absorbed bank.

Lancaster, Pennsylvania, consolidated under the
charter and title of the latter bank. A branch was
