ANNOUN CEMENT BY BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM For the week ending July 1957 CHANGES IN STATE BANK MEMBERSHIP Date effective District Mergers, Consolidation and Establishment of Branches 2 Long Island Trust Company, Garden City, New York, and The Freeport Bank, Freeport, New York, both State members, merged under charter and title of Long Island Trust Company, k branch was established in the former location of The Freeport Bank. 7- 1-57 k The Brecksville Bank, Brecksville, Ohio, a State member, merged with Central National Bank, Cleveland, Ohio, under charter and title of the latter bank. The former main office of the discontinued bank and its branch will be operated as branches by the continuing bank. 7- 1-57 7 Merchants and Mechanics Bank, Flint, Michigan, and Genesee County Savings Bank, Flint, Michigan, both State members, consolidated under charter of the latter bank and new title Genesee Merchants Bank & Trust Co.
