A "branch was established in the former location of The First National Bank of Thprnasville. 7-29-61 The Citizens-Waynesboro Bank and Trust Company, Waynes8- 3-61 boro, Virginia, a State member, and The Peoples National Bank of Charlottesville, Charlottesville, Virginia, merged under charter and title of the latter. The former main office and branch of The CitizensWaynesboro Bank and Trust Company will be operated as branches by the continuing bank.
