Mergers and Establishment of Branches
The Liberty Trust Company, Cumberland Maryland,
a State member, merged under its charter and
title with The Commercial Savings Bank,
Cumberland, Maryland, an insured nonmember.
A branch was established in the former
location of the latter bank.

Mechanics and Merchants. Bank, Richmond, Virginia, 8-1-56
a State member, merged with The Central National
Bank of Richmond, Richmond, Virginia, under the
charter and title of the latter. The former
head office and branch of Mechanics and Merchants
Bank, Richmond, will be operated as branches by
the continuing bank.
Establishment of State Member Branches
Colonial Trust Company, Waterbury, Connecticut,
established a branch in the East End of
Waterbury on Dune Street, to be known as East
End Office.
