On the Board's Special Weekly Report on Department
Store Sales dated December 1 notice was given of a revision
of the Board's series on Department Store Sales and Stocks,
by Major Departments, and an announcement was made of the
availability of a brochure containing back data for the new
series.
This notice is to call attention to an erratum in
the brochure• In the subscript of the title for the tables
on pages 18-29, the irord "Sales" appears incorrectly* The
description of the base period for the stocks indexes should
read "19U7-U9 Average Monthly Stocks = 100".
