Fixed-rate accounts pay one rate of return over the life of the Instrument, whereas variable rate accounts pay a rate of return that may vary over the life of the instrument. Excludes IRA/Keogh accounts. 7. Ceiling-free IRA/Keogh time deposits of less than $100,000 with original maturities of 1-1/2 years of more, were authorized beginning December 1, 1981. Fixed-rate accounts pay one rate of return over the life of the instrument, whereas variable rate accounts pay a rate of return that may change periodically over the life of the instrument. All other IRA and Keogh Plan time and savings deposits include all IRA/Keogh time deposits regardless of maturity or ceiling rate. 8.
